Please post the source of your numbers, and space them out so that the data can be understood.

LAWL

Dont you guys love numbers? ;) I do. The PS3 is doing really well, a bit over a month and it outsold the 360. The PSP also seems to be picking up, hell with the amazing games coming up in 2007 for the PSP...it is hard to resist.

Good stuff. March cant come soon enough

For one, it's a new console, it's going to sell. Two, outselling the 360 in japan is no feat. That was going to happen anyway. Im not taking credit away from Sony for sales, but that is totally expected.

PSP is picking up in sales, and while it won't challenge Nintendo this time around, Sony will have gained valuable experience in making the next handheld. Sales should pick up as trust in it's handheld division builds.

Thanks for the fix. What does the yellow number represent?. At first I thought it was total sales to date, but the low PS2 number tells me otherwise. Total sales for fiscal year maybe?

Im guessing the Dec numbers would be double Japans number.
800k+420K=1.2M

If these numbers are to be trusted, It is very feasible that Sony has, or will reach 1 million consoles sold within the next week.

Annyone knows if the shipping ration is still around 2:1? If it is, then Sony has delivered on it's 1 million+ PS3 by the end of the year promise. Even if it was now 1:1 it still puts the sales at 840k total wich is only 160k shy of 1 million with a week to go on the charts.

Seriously - the XB360 picked up very well in Japan. Now about half the weekly sales of the PS2. It will still end up very very far behind in Japan, but it seems to be doing. It was doing worse compared to the original XB, but maybe due to Blue Dragon it seems to pick up a little..
