Ok, so just has a heads up. As of about 30 minutes ago, I've received the same pop-up twice on this forum saying the following.
View attachment 5777
Just not sure whether I should take the warning seriously or not?
I've never ever seen that page in any other website I've browsed on Chrome, certainly never this one before.

Hope all is well :)

Yeah I'm getting the notification once every 5/10 minutes. Just got it as I tried navigating to this thread, then it kicks me to the previous page.

Well just wanted to raise the alarm so the necessary bodies can investigate, other than that its none of my business haha.

it could be an image embedded in a thread. could you link to the page you are trying to access please :)

if you could report the page to one of the staff using the report tool we should be able to get rid of it if it's on the forums. I can't do much outside of advise as im on holiday on an island and have currently rigged a coconut to connect to PSU

hopefully another staff member can get this dealt with asap :D

It doesn't seem to be a specific thread, its just springing randomly as I navigate throughout the site.
So beats me as to where the source is :/

Clear cache and disable one by one the scripts you're using to find the cause. It's probably your own computer, since I've not seen it here in 20 minutes, OR MAYBE it's in the forums where I'm banned? If so, delete them and problems are solved.

I was going to create a thread about this, but I also just had a similar warning when trying to look at the project CARS on X1 page, in the VS thread. And honestly, been seeing a few other things on other pages, locking up and weird requests out to other pages. This could be more than the odd user...

Glad I'm not the only one!

It does just seem to be only PSU aswell, I've done a fair bit of browsing on other sites today too..

To the persons responsible of keeping this site. You need to dig deep and remove the malware
I've been around a couple of days and it is infected for sure

I wonder if this has anything to do with the influx in 500 errors. Haven't been getting them a lot but they are starting to happen more frequently again.

The forums are being particularly slow about updating, too. A recent thread I made rook 15 minutes before showing up, and the 'View New Posts' feature is taking anywhere from 10-30 minutes to properly update.

Related to this, or coincidence?

Thanks guys.

We're looking into this. Can you guys tell me what page or pages you saw the problem on? We need to narrow it down.

which some times ends up trying to direct you to another page.

This is actually a little annoying and I have found my self starting to visit the site much less because of these issues.

If you would, please PM me the page you are being redirected to if you come across it again. We are trying to track down the source of this. More than likely it is a script run from one of the ad sites.
Happy to have raised the issue, hope the source is found soon!
If its related at all (or whether you guys have done this on purpose for advertisement money) I have had the following pop up twice since browsing the site for like 5 minutes.

Thanks. I will pass this along. I can assure this was not on purpose. Advertising is not always something we control.
Just got a warning myself recently.
I keep reporting it up to the system administrators, but I'm not getting any feedback as of yet. I know one of them were out during the holidays. Will ping them again and see what I can find out.

Alright, thanks for the report. I hope the guy gets it and will be able to fix it cause the issue is quite annoying.

Do you get the alert when browsing to the forums index page, the PSU home page, particular thread, etc?

Anyone else?

No places in particular, I get them occasionally in different locations in the forum.
