We're not going to beat around the bush here, we need help. And who better to ask than one of our loyal followers.

Sadly, the role is unpaid, however, you do get access to our staff forums, get to chinwag with us lovely folk at PSU and become part of the team of the best PlayStation site in the world! (Hey, Don may even let you join in a podcast or two.) If you're looking to get a job on the web this would be a great start for your portfolio and allow you to see how a website like PSU runs on a daily basis. Who knows where this could lead?

We need a database manager.

That means we need someone we can REALLY trust as they will have access to behind the scenes. Due to the security issues, we'd like to recruit a regular poster on PSU, someone who has been part of the community for a while, or perhaps a recommendation from a trusted member of our community.

We need you to help us keep on top of some of our great features that we've under-utilised in recent months. We're in the process of rejuvenating our Trophies, Wallpaper and Themes section. You'll be tasked with adding Trophy lists of new games that come out and adding new wallpapers. They'll be other things to sort out too so ideally you'll be a jack of all trades. Crucially, you'll be part of a team that really wants to push this site forward for when the PS4 lands.

You do need a very keen eye for detail. One mistake, the press of the wrong button, and PSU could disappear in a puff of smoke. Okay, maybe not, but, yeah, you need to be meticulous in your work. Past experience with database management or data input would be preferred but not necessary as we can show you how things work.

All we ask from you is that you can help us whenever you can. We really need someone that has a few hours a week to spare, which they could spread across the week or help in one go. To give you an idea, inputting a new trophy list takes about 20-30 minutes. We need someone who really wants to help us push PSU to the next level and help us add lists on a weekly basis. Being a database manager is an incredibly important role.'s what you need to do if you're interested.

Send me a private message stating your interest and why you want to work with PSU. Tell me a little bit about yourself. Where are you from? How old are you? And whatever you think might interest us. Let me know what sort of input you could give. We're all very like-minded individuals at PSU and we'd like the same sort of person to join us.

Come and join the PSU crew!
