SE500 has just confirm an exclusive interview with a studio making PS4 game/s. So we figured we would allow you to get your questions in.
This would be about the PS4, what do you want to know about it?
We will pick the best 2-3 questions and ask the developer on the show, we will read your forum name on air.
So please ask away.
Also feel free to ask me questions about this, I may not answer them.

In terms of the hardware/technical differences between PS3 and PS4, how feasible would it be to "port" a game over?

Is the HDD interface on the PS4 motherboard SATA2 or SATA3?
How difficult is it to port over a game from PS3 and/or PC?
How long do they feel it will take before we are seeing the full capability of the console?

I think we will release it this weekend. We weren't able to get everyones questions, but we have a number of interview set up for the near future. We even have some other plans with developers to bring something special for you guys, but thats top secret for now

Is it hard to optimize a game for the ps4 in terms of performance? In other words is it time and resources consuming to make sure that the technical aspects of the game are well processed?

this is just a question so dont think im trolling or whatever n also im a playstation fanboy .
sony said that all the next gen games will run at 1080p 60fps , but some of the games that the coming like watch dogs , the witcher 3 run at 30fps .
so my question is that is it the the ps4 which cant handle 60fps or its in the hand of devs to select that whether the game will run at 30fps or 60fps and if it IS in the hand of devs why do they make the game run at 30fps .

that's not technically true.

while there is a law of diminishing return as you move from one core to the next, Jaguar has the benefit of development aimed specifically for working on multiple cores.

I wouldn't mind hearing devs ballpark figures for the 6-8 cpu cores.

IIRC, figures put it at around lower i5 iterations???

The GPU, well we've seen what was drawn out of the RSX.

the jaguar runs 4 cores.

PS4 has double that. granted, it doesn't mean double the performance as they don't even use all cores. but Jaguar has some nifty features to bridge the performance deficit. i think out-of-order execution was one of those additions.

i can't remember the numbers though.... but they were decent for the 4 core jaguar.

Note: Sony has yet to release clock speed info.
