The 8 year old game has just received a 4k patch on the One X and the results are incredible for such an old game. Resolution and textures have been upgraded to offer a whole new visual experience, in preparation to RDR2 to be released later this year:

I'm not sure what you mean by upgraded textures and "a whole new visual experience". It just looks like the game was upscaled to 4K, which is the most I would expect from an Xbox 360 title coming to Xbox One/One X.

I believe the game is running at a native 2160p. Textures are all the same but the added resolution provides a crystal clear image compared to the original game on the 360.

Abtriscopic texture filtering upgrades the textures when viewed at angles. Same raw textures, but they are upgraded in how they are applied. And it looks way better.

And yes its native 4k not upscaled.

It looks clearer because of the increased resolution, and the most noticeable difference in that screenshot is the darker self-shadowing of the horse, but I don't see the upgraded textures that Aquanox and mynd mentioned.

Yes, a higher resolution resulting in clearer textures, not actual upgraded textures (like the maximum ultra graphics settings for the PC version of a console game or Shadow of the Colossus on PS4).
