A friend of mine got a Sony Wireless Blu-ray player for Christmas.

I believe its the sony bdp-s570.
Got a good review on Cnet- but its one weakness appears to be streaming Netflix via Wifi.

She really wants to be able to use her player to stream netflix and is considering returning and exchanging for something better.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Are all Sony wifi blu-ray players crippled in the same way? My ps3 is hard wired... I wonder if I would have similar issues with wifi.

Thanks in advance.

Not a Samsung, at least not their sound system/blu-ray combo. The virtual keyboard they have doesn't even support special characters like [email protected]#$%^&*( , so if one is in your key you cannot connect.

From my research this is the best blu-ray player under $200 with built in wifi:

I almost bought a LG 570 before Christmas, they hit right around $150 from a couple of sources (it was the "daily sale" type gimmick). Terrific player and great media features, including DLNA so we can stream from our media server (starting to move things like workout vids and the little one's DVDs onto it).
