I actually agree Saints Row is a series to me that's just too over the top, and while it was funny sometimes it just felt like it was too much it's the opposite of GTA 4 which barely had any over the top elements.
Me personally didn't even like Saints Row 2 all that well. Like it was ok, but never play it again after beating it, and just heard from a friend Saints Row 3 was kind of boring which sucks to hear because it seem like it would have been fun.

I have no idea what is going on with this game series like most this current generation, but this doesn't look like an open world game to me? I thought it was a type of GTA clone game that had a different take but whatever that was looked boring and something I wouldn't try. If this is just an expansion of a previous Saints Row than that was a sad attempt to compete with the master that is coming.
