I picked up Socom combined assault on ps2 and got a surprise in finding out that the map packs are free on there with a "best of socom 2 collection" map pack just added. How many people here are still playing Socom and have you tried the maps?

How long ago were the maps released? I still play it occassionally and Socom 2 was my favorite of the series but I haven't been on in months. I usually play Call of Duty but can't wait for the PS3 Socom to come out.

Actually it's usually in the thousands oddly enough.

I've been playing the now free add on maps more. Mostly Crossroads though. Brought back memories.

Hm.. must be a regional thing? I have Combined Assault and all I see is like 100 people.
