Sony projector worth the money?

Sony's new projector coming out in October has got me thinking about getting one. It'll be awesome to throw it in my bag and head to a friends house, but then I asked myself are there better projectors out there? So I did some digging to see if there are other options that beats the Sony 32lumens projector. Here's what I've found.

Do you guys think these are better or should I wait for the Sony? They have higher lumens but I've read that the laser projectors are as bright as LED projectors with higher lumens. They're pretty much the same price except the Optoma but it has better specs which I might want in the long run.

Me neither. Thought I give it a try for myself since I've been hearing mixed reviews about it, but I'm not trying to hand out big bucks to do it so I'm looking into the smaller projectors. Some people told me that it's not worth it because you can't see the details but I think other games like street fighter won't be too bad.

If I worked on the road I'd probably give it look-see. But I could do fine with an iPad or a tablet. (does iPad support remote play?)

Looks like a lot of hassle stacking those books. Untidy too perhaps? If you're not planing on taking around with you I wouldn't bother. How's the noise level?

I only paid 600 bucks for my w1070+, so I'm not going to defend my purchase. Really it was that or two pretty similar dlp projectors.

My next purchase will probably be one that isn't as loud. Laser technology perhaps?

Sony has been making high-quality home theater projectors for years. Sony's SXRD technology, which is their implementation of LCoS, produces projectors with high contrast ratios and impressive 200-310 Dumps HD performance. Until now, though, those projectors have all carried price tags of at least $3000, putting them out of reach for many potential buyers.

I don't know about that projector, but I have a couple Epson Projectors and they are awesome. I have a tripod 16:9 100 inch screen I will pull out of the closet when we want the larger screen. You have to look at frame rates to determine how it will work with games. The Epsons are plenty fast. My newest one does fake 4k and it looks fantastic, but it is a lot bigger than my old 1080p projector, so there is a trade off for the better picture.
