How many SPE's do you think the ported titles are using and Resistance is using?

White Engine (near cgi real-time quality with cinematic transition) is supposed to use 4 of the 6 for deving.

What do you expect from games using all 6?

i think all games use all spu`s just some use it wrong (ports) and some are on there way to use them right (lair) ... i guess that dev. doing rused port only "say" "hey spu`s here you have my pc code swollow and get done with it"...you know what i mean? its like using diesel on a formula 1 engine :)

Ports don't just use 1-2. The 360 has 6 CPU threads total and lets say each thread performs a task. The tasks from each of those threads could be given to one SPE each, and use 6 SPEs total. Also the Cell's main core will be helping out and directing the traffic.

A good port will be adapted to run well on the Cell.

It would not be very smart to not use multiple threads as each spe can have 2 running at the same time
7 SPE's - 1 SPE(OS)= 6 Spe's -- 12 Simultaneous threads at one time.
But probably more multithreaded multiplatform games will be smoother and look better

Most likely all of them. Just not to their full efficiency, and not for a full frame. So each one might have 'some' idle time each frame.
