I wanted to make this thread so that everyone can say what sports teams that they support. No real reason, just thought it would be interesting. Me:

Football-San Francisco 49ers

Baseball-San Francisco Giants

Basketball-Los Angeles Lakers

Hockey-San Jose Sharks

Those are the only teams I really care about:D

Very good choice in Football team. Too bad USC is going to the National Championship, I'm sure everyone was hoping there'd actually be a game.

(OSU is going to make USC look like fools)

Yeah, we have a couple in common. I was also an Oilers fan before they became the Titans. But how did you stray all the way to Atlanta to pick a baseball favorite - everything else is in Texas or came from Texas :)

Hockey- Dallas Stars [Mike Modano ftw] Louisiana hockey fans unite! Oh...just me?

Football- Dallas Cowboys

Baseball- Houston Astros

NCAA- LSU, UT \m/

Basketball- Houston Rockets but not a huge fan

Soccer- Feel like I'm on the verge of becoming a fan, but I can't appreciate it really because the only history I have with soccer is a horrible year in a rec league as a 9yr old

My mom was a huge John Smoltz fan growing up, and I just became a fan of the organization in the early 90's. I remember the good ole' days of Jeff Blauser and Mark Lemke (not to mention Mark Whorler and David Justice). I like the Astros too, but the Braves come first in my book.

Nice NCAA selection! My parents went to LSU, and I love their program as well (behind UT of course). They have great fans and a great program.

Also, did anyone else catch the Titans-Giants game? Vince Young was (and always will) be a beast. People thought he would be able to survive in the NFL. People also thought Reggie Bush was one of the best players in the game. They just didn't realize he ISN'T A RUNNING BACK.

I seen it. Even though I could care less, I must ask wtf is wrong with Eli? How could the brother of greatness be playing so terrible?

Wow, you make me feel old. The good ole days for me are Dale Murphy, Terry Pendleton, and Gene Garber.

Mark Lemke was my favorite player during that era. Now I am a hugh Marcus Giles fan, but it looks like he is on the trading block. I have watched the Braves play numerous times but the only time i saw them since Giles was a member was the year he got hurt going into the All-Star break. And of course he was hurt when I went. Same thing with Michael Jordan. I went to watch the Wizards play (just to see MJ) and he got hurt the game before I went. So, didn't get to see him play either.
