So we're about to get slammed with 18-24 inches of snow. Maybe even more. It's supposed to be the biggest storm in years.

Anyone else on the east coast and bracing for impact?

Damn, you guys are going to get hit hard. Here in Ohio, looks like above freezing temperatures and a chance of rain. So probably won't freeze.

Canada here, we're experiencing some of that blizzard now and more tomorrow because in Canada, Winter comes late and finishes in the summer time.

Well now they're saying it will hit later and the worst of it will be this afternoon. Dumb weathermen can't get it right. Sorry Kwes you can come visit the tundra up here? :)

Entire regions in the province I live in have schools closed. We have it bad. Kinda pissed off because I stayed up all morning and got no sleep for 24 hours because I was doing a super important homework project that was due later on today..and now everything is closed cause of fucking weather. Snow just came all over cities, if you know what I mean ;)

I hope just completely misses my area. I used to love snow when I was a kid because snow meant no school.

but now that Its mandatory that I'm at work whether it snows or not, it's just a hassle.

yeah, its snowing like crazy. My assignment for today was postponed to monday so I skipped university but some idiot still decided for schools to be open

a status on my facebook summarises it quite nicely:

Whoever decided to leave UOIT open today; take a bus or drive on these shitty highways, I dare you, double dare you motherfucker.

I don't know what the big deal is. They made this sound worse than it actually is here. It's pretty normal here but the snow is wet snow which is heavy but I shoveled maybe an inch or two a few hours ago and that's it. Hope everyone else is safe, you all are obviously getting it worse than me.
