You know Fiji are going to boss this tournament :p

In serious though, New Zealand are looking like the side to beat. In the space of a couple weeks, the took a narrow loss to Aus and turned it into a thrashing victory...

I've never watched rugby but I am, on a whim, going to find someplace I can watch it anyway. Not sure if they will carry that here but I'll see.

Watch Fiji thrash England tomorrow night! :snicker

Jokes aside, it should make for an entertaining opener at the very least. Fiji will run the ball any chance they get. Should probably expect a few big hits from the fijian backs.

Don't think it will be a walk over for England I must admit but it's a game we really should win, massively excited about watching the opener tonight and the whole tournament in general :D

Who are you rooting for?

I'm so excited about it I'm even tempted to watch the minor nations matches

I would be excited if England won but I think New Zealand might take it. Who are you rooting for?

I do that with six nations too, I watch all matches.

I expect England to shut Nadolo down quickly when he gets the ball (or try to at least). Of all the fijian backs, this guy will cause problems for most teams.

Well it would be nice for England but like you say I think it will be a New Zealand vs South Africa final

They will have to be careful, one laps of of concentration and they seem like a team that will punish you!

Well it wasn't pretty and it wasn't a wash over but we shall take the win and the bonus point, can't play like that against Wales and Australia though so hopefully the next performance is a massive improvement! There were signs of it and some of the passing was flowing and fast but there just seemed too many lapses in concentration

Agree. The player that stood out the most to me was Mike Brown. Australia and Wales will annihilate us if we play like that again. Looking forward to Ireland v Canada today. Hopefully Ireland will win.

I can't see Ireland slipping up against Canada but you never know, France vs Italy should be a close run game though!

I can't see it either but I just like the way Ireland play mostly. That's the next game I'm looking forward to the most. I hope Italy win.
I can see South Africa thrashing Japan today in all honesty......
How wrong was I

Amazing display by Japan, definitely an upset when you consider South Africa's rugby pedigree!

Don't think you are the only one, apparently Japan actually has a massive rugby following and it's own super league, who knew

No surprises today though, Uruguay put on a good show at the start but Wales have decided to start playing now

Surprised that it was against SA, but not surprised that Japan played so well.

Am I the only one (outside of Japan) that aren't surprised at their good play?

Good win today - don't listen to media about it being sloppy. We were ill disciplined, and the Pumas defence was just that good.

They are on ppv on DirecTV so... Never watched a game and wanted to check it out. I'm guessing the semis and final will be on some channel I get. Wouldn't mind checking it out.

Well a couple of days ago you would have said a walk over for Scotland but Japan could very well make it 2 wins on the bounce!
