Just wondered if anyone else follows this? I love the tour and watch it every day.

Great Grand Depart yesterday and a superb result by Kittel. A bit of impatience from Cav on a stretch of road he knows better than anyone else led to him now being out of the rest of the tour. Shame, but we've seen him do things like this last year as well.

Looking forward to to the second stage today.

Today they went past places I know very well "Ladybower resevoir"

Was surprised just how may people were out to support it, there was tens of thousands constantly screaming as the riders went by.

The numbers reported by Police yesterday were 1.5M lining the route. There were 230k just at the Grand Depart. Apparently they're saying there were even more today.

Great racing today as well. Amazing that Nibali started a solo sprint 1.5km out and made it stick! Good stage win for him.

Everything going to plan for Froome so far.

Gutted. Absolutely gutted. Froome did his best but must have been in a crap load of pain after that last fall. Nibali did great, wouldn't mind him winning it. Gotta support Porte too after what he's done for froome last year, wiggins the year before.

In short, anybody but Contador!

Yeah I just read it! Bloody hell! This tour has been turned on its head. Gotta say that this is the best chance Nibali could get to win the tour. I think Richie Porte is losing too much time unfortunately.

This could go anywhere this year!
