Meanwhile, Tetsuya Nomura says he's concentrating on Kingdom Hearts III while not saying much of anything about Final Fantasy VII... nothing to reassure fans it will release anytime soon.

"Please be excited" to wait even longer, I guess.

UPDATE:

Hajime Tabata, who directed Final Fantasy XV and left his position as studio head of Square Enix’s Luminous Production on October 31, has announced the establishment of a new company called JP Games.

“I started up my own company called JP Games, Inc.,” Tabata said in a Facebook post. “Right now, we are preparing for a target January 2019 launch. And to everyone who has assisted me until today–I kindly ask for your ongoing support.”

Further information was not announced.

Well longs they just don't keep overloading Nomura with work which Square would do and I heard Nomura has depression. Squares management has been a colossal mess for years and Tabata got stuck with all the baggage. I hope Tabata can get more freedom with another company he works for in the future.

Shame I was interested in a episode Aranea.
Please be excited.

I wouldn't expect to see any game announcements from them for a while.
