My aunt just bought an 80 gig ps3. She will be taking the ps3 to Madagascar which uses 220 voltage. Will the Ps3 automatically convert to 220? Or does she need a special converter to make it work in Madagascar?

Well, first of all, the outlets will be different, so you will need a converter for the outlet, and yes, I don't believe the PS3 has a built-in converter, like most laptops, but they are available at Walmart, Best Buy, etc. Other than that, it should work fine, and make sure you got a TV :suspect:

I consider it extremely likely it says "110-240v" on the rear of the PS3, like almost all hardware these days. You just need a cable that will fit into the wall.
