All media downloads over the PlayStation Vita's 3G connection will be limited to 20MB, Sony has announced.According to Andriasang, an unnamed Sony Computer Entertainment rep confirmed the figure to Japanese outlet ASCII.
The 20MB limit means that, while you'll be able to access the PlayStation Store, you'll likely only be able to download Minis and system updates while you're away from a wi-fi connection, rather than full retail titles.
The Sony rep added that while this will definitely be the case at launch, there's a chance the bar could be raised further down the line.
Incidentally, that figure is the same as the iPhone 4's 3G download cap.

That's about normal for 3G connections (at least here in the UK) so if anyone thought they'd be downloading any full blown games or playing multiplayer gaming over 3G i think they'll be kidding themselves.
