It's probably a guess and ^usually a company doesn't find out the exact date but they'll know the month so they just write the last or the first date. But that doesn't mean that they do know which month, they're probably guessing or trying to get some hits.
Thats the date on amazon because amazon doesnt know when it comes out either. Before they announced the star wars blu-ray editions they had a release date of christmas 2012. and it came out more than a year before that. Thats just a placeholder date.

The end of march would be ridiculous with when it's releasing in Japan. Sure it's just a place holder (last day of the 1st quarter of the year). Sure hope early feb at the latest.
