What I use my Vita for..

80% Netflix and Music

20% Games

And there my good friends is the problem in a nutshell.

This is the problem with things like the Vita it's marketed to us as a game system, but reality it's marketed to everyone as the PS3 was this do it all device, and as of right now. There are many out on the market that does what the Vita can do maybe not as powerful graphically, but you know.

Like Tablets and Smartphones if Vita would have just been nothing, but a Handheld Portable Unit kind of like 3DS(although it might have a few of these other features itself) we probably wouldn't be hearing this ever, or at least not for another 3 years or so maybe.

I really dont think Bioshock Vita is in development. I have a feeling they just scrapped it after working on it for say 6 months.
Someone mentioned they have to lower the price of memory cards.
Also dont see that happening.
I think at TGS or Gamescon they announce a price drop to 180$ and hopefully they announce a bundle with the PS4 for 499$.

I hope remote play works as they say it will or the Vita really is dead. Developers dont wanna waste time making a game that best case scenario will sell 200k copies. Games for Vita sell poorly.

I think the Vita is an amazing piece of hardware, but it needs much more games. Having a gem here or there isn't going to cut it. I'm a big RPG guy, so the system is perfect for me, but they really need to work on getting more action games, shooter, etc on the system. I mainly looking forward to using it with my PS4 as remote play, but that feature alone isn't really going to be pushing units.

Head + nail = hit. Can't wait for the PS4 to see what they do with them together.

I believe they have big plans for the vita. They have said countless times it was made for the ps4 in mind. They would not have been working this hard to keep it from being hacked by the masses if they didn't have something big planned for it. We will seee soon hopefully

The PS4 wasn't even announced at the time, I think they've just changed their plans for the system because they don't want to have many studios focusing on it. Makes you wonder how Nintendo manages to do it.

Yes I said the PS4 wasn't announced when Vita was. At that time they said "PS3 experiences on the go" (without needing to be connected to the internet or the PS3), but now it's all about remote play and indies which is why people are pissed off, it's pretty much a $250 PS4 controller at this point.
I want XCOM: Enemy Unknown on Vita. Now that'd be a system seller!
Yeah, I think it'd play really well on the Vita.
