I wish they'd release a trailer. It's sort of funny that the first one hasn't even released in the US yet, but hey, I won't complain one minute.

WKC is one of my most anticipated games so I'll gladly accept the news of a WKCII. Hopefully this one gets better reception since it's a sequel. And since FFXIII will sell a ton of consoles to JRPG fans, hopefully people will pick this game up as well.

WKC was scheduled for the end of this year. I was wanting to get it. Now it's scheduled for next year. Why would they release it at the same time as FF13? I'm not going to buy this game when I know that FF13 is coming out only a couple weeks after it. I'd rather wait, buy FF13, play FF13 to death, then buy WKC and maybe it's had a price drop since then.
Seriously though, I thought a year to localize it seemed like a long time but now we're into the 15 to 16 month time frame.

Whats up with that flame beastie? From the trailers of the first game it seem it should have been taken care of.. Why isn't the first one here yet, kind of upsetting.

Nice trailer, but like others have said, i remember some scenes, creatures and whatnot from the trailers of the first game. Also, Lenard and co. are wearing the same outfits as before. With all these combined, I take it that part 2 happens almost immediately after the ending of part 1.

Many of the scenes in this new trailer for the sequel actually appeared in early trailers of the first game.

Given WKC1's abrupt ending, I think the most logical explanation is that they were intended to be part of the first game, but were cut for whatever reason and left for the sequel.

I wonder whether with good marketing, WKC1 would've been a viable release in December for Sony to see if they can make it more of a success. Stranger things can and have happened. But putting some marketing muscle can help at times, though I guess it would come down whether the risk is worth the reward. Seeing as it's supposedly a trilogy, maybe it would be a good idea for them to really focus on making this a success for outside of Japan also.

Certainly, if it broke over a million worldwide on the first game, it'd be a good starting point for them to really improve and push the sequel. Currently, I think they'll be fortunate to get 500k even for the rest of the World.

Well, it's not very surprising to see a trailer for the sequel. The game was released in Japan way back in December of 2008. I imagine that they've been working on the sequel since then. I still can't wait to pick up the first White Knight Chronicles -- it's going to be awesome. I'm really eager to play it when it does release early next year.
Really nice that a PS3 JRPG is getting a sequel already. Haven't seen many of those this gen.
Sequels
-Valkyria Chronicles 2 (albeit, sequel on PSP)
-White Knight Chronicles 2
-Agarest Senki Zero (prequel...does that count?)
-Tears to Tiara Gaiden ("another story", but takes place after first one)
-Angel Senki (i believe is a "sequel" of sorts to Angel Love Online..could be wrong about this one)

Sequel-less
-Cross Edge
-Atelier Rorona (though I believe the producer said this would be the first in a series of Alchemist of Arland series)
-Enchant Arms
-Trusty Bell
-Demon's Souls
-Disgaea 3

Didn't include ToV or Trinity Universe, since they're new releases or to be released...sure there will be another To, however.

So a good number of them are getting sequels :p

Love the further expanding scale of what's happening in the world in the trailer as they continue the story.

Can't wait for the English version of WKC1 and hopefully 2 will come across faster.
