XBL Down 10/3 for service problems?

Is anybody having trouble singing into XBL right now? I got kicked off line about 15-20 minutes ago and when I try to sign back in it says to go to support page on xbox.com. I went on there and the XBL is defo down it says "Service Alert". Is anybody else having trouble signing into XBL right now?

Yeah it was random lol I was browsing gamer pics and then all of a sudden I got kicked offline and couldn't sign back in. The service page is acting crazy too because its going from up and running, service alert then it said up and running a second ago now its back on service alert. :lol: im so confused right now.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fall update.

hopefully it wasn't a hack, MS seems to take that a little more serious than others.

Doesn't matter how serious a company takes it, NOTHING is 100% hack proof.

Probably just maintenance.

forza 4 demo maybe the culprate? too many people trying to download it? iono.. it keeps saying i cant download it and kicks me off..

Why can't things just work all the time. Honestly. I don't know anything about networking, but this is bullshit IMO. People pay for this uptime. 17 million gold subscribers ISH are paying over a billion dollars a year to have this service running. It's unacceptable IMO.
