YLOD Question

İ gort the YLOD 2 months ago and i cant live without my Ps3 and i dont have the money to get a new one.İ have some questions and dont tell me to give it to SONY they wont take it.

1 : Will changing the power supply fix it?

2 : Changing the HDD??

3 : Or doing anything else???

Are you able to get the Recovery menu up with this fault? I'm not teaching you to suck eggs, it's just that I've never seen it happen before so I don't know how the PS3 acts with it...

the PS3 is coverd for a year. after that you have to pay to get it fixed

What odes your PS3 do when you first turn it on (on the screen)? Is it just black or what?

I am unsure if this will help (the above suggestions are good as well). But here is a link to some directions as well. What's good about this link is even if the information doesn't help you; There are links on how to fix it (on youtube). I have not watched the youtube links as of yet, but extra info can't hurt.
