What is your wallpaper? Post a screenshot of it here!

(for those who don't know: To take screenshots, you press Alt-Print Screen and a pic of the screen will be saved to the clipboard. Open Photoshop or Paint or whatever, put it into a picture file.)

Downsize your pic before posting.

Man, your desktop is quite scary

I had this walpap for some long time cause it is stylish, not cheap like the most wallpapers with a chic on it...

Enjoy ^^

Here's my current desktop. :)

I pretty much have to change it every day though. I can't stand having the same wallpaper for more than 24 hours at most.

It's some kind of phobia I have. I don't know why.

That's what I'm currently running on my notebook, it's native resolution is 1920x1200. When I get home, I'll post what I'm running on my desktop. It's a bit harder to find wallpapers for my desktop though 'cause 2500x1600 resolution images are kind of hard to come by but I've built quite the collection over the years.

I'm not sure if you meant to just post the wallpaper or a picture of your desktop with wallpaper so I did the latter one.

Here is mine. I had to turn the other secondary monitor off to get the screenshot of the main one. I change my picture, depending on my mood, almost every week. Whatever inspires me, I guess.

I can't stand XP's theme.. with the blue *shudders*. Classic windows is a lot easier on the eyes, doesn't look so childish. :p

I'll show a pic of my linux desktop, too.

Not sure if I should show my desktop, it's a little big...

Edit : Aaaah what the hell, I had to resize this thing to hell and back though.

Ok, this might be a dumb question, mainly because I don't know, how do you just take a picture of your background without printing?

Hit the "print screen" button on your keyboard.

Open up MS paint., and press "ctrl" and "v" at the same time.

Now save the file as a jpeg and find a place to host the photo.

Hope this helps. :)

Heres my desktop on Windows
The background is from Alan Wake.

Its not finished yet.
Ive still to add some code in (in process of fixing it) that will set taskbar entries to their specific desktop.
And i will be decreasing the size of the Desktop Selection Window to 2/3rds its size and putting a volume bar under that. (maybe even descrease to two desktops, not sure yet, i mainly only use two)
Then i change all the stats so they are vertical.
Then i have to find some place to put IM windows taskbars (i want IM taskbars to show regardless what Desktop im on.)
Also i will create a scrolling System tray so its not so big, hehe.
OH, and change the horrible colour!
I made a theme ages ago that was down the left (or can switch to the right) side.
But i lost that cause my stupid hard drive broke... :(

My Linux one is basically the default KDE view with the taskbar set on small with 2 V-Desktops and the same background.
The default KDE taskbar is perfectly fine for me.
I may edit it at some point, im not too sure yet...

If I asked why you guys are calling him Tom, would I regret it? I usually do...

Now, here's my updated pic.

And I have no shame.

Why is it that Asian girls in video games (coughRigdeRacercough) always have such big eyes? Cute, I'll admit, but dayamn, A bit creepy.

Well you've pretty much just said it yourself, big eyes give a child like look which makes everything look super cute, which is why anime always tend to have big eyes, unless it's serious anime then you'll never see big eyes.

Yeh when they have these small eyes, it usually means they are evil

And great desktop btw FLCLjazz
I like the way the picture almost has placeholders for your desktop items. (im guessing that was the point?)
I done something like this awhile back, but i just tend to turn off my desktop now.
And thanks for reminding me about HijackThis, i completely forgot the name of it

I need to start editing my taskbar again.
