Jade Raymond working on Splinter Cell 6

Ubisoft Toronto managing director Jade Raymond has confirmed in a recent promotional video that the studio is currently in the process of working on Splinter Cell 6.

Raymond let slip back in May that she was working on a new title in the stealth franchise, though didn’t refer to it as Splinter Cell 6 or elaborate on any further details.

"We’re working on Splinter Cell 6, the next iteration of the blockbuster franchise, and we’re doing it entirely here in Toronto,” she commented.

Raymond further added that 83 people have been taken on board for the project, with gameplay production “going on already.” Concept artists, animators and audio directors are busy chiselling away at the title as we speak, apparently.

"Within the next 10 years we plan to ramp up this studio to at least 800 people, and we’re ahead of schedule on that," she added.

Stay tuned for more on Splinter Cell 6 as it breaks.
