PS4 won’t work with Mad Catz FightSticks

Mad Catz senior product development manager Richard Neville confirmed to Joystiq that their line of acclaimed PlayStation 3 Tournament Edition FightSticks will not be compatible with the PlayStation 4.

Neville simply stated that the “Playstation 4 [sic] will require a whole new set of peripherals.”

Mad Catz has already announced a new FightStick with improved functionality called the Tournament Edition 2 FightStick for the Xbox One, which was seen on stage during the Microsoft E3 press conference, available later this year. It has yet to comment on plans for a new FightStick for the PS4.
