Rebellion eyes console version of Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army may yet shamble its way onto home consoles, developer Rebellion Entertainment has hinted.

Writing on Twitter (via VideoGamer), the studio’s CEO, Jason Kingsley, said that Rebellion is currently “looking at” a console version of the shooter, though stressed “nothing is confirmed or announced yet.”

A spin-off to the core Sniper Elite franchise, Nazi Zombie Army has seen two releases to date, and have only appeared on PC. The games build on the success of the on-going zombie FPS craze popularized by Call of Duty’s Nazi Zombie game mode.

The latest entry in the Sniper Elite franchise, Sniper Elite 3, is scheduled to ship for PC and home consoles at some point this year.
