Sony hardware tops Japanese charts for another week

Japanese hardware figures for the week ended March 15 confirm yet another solid turnover for Sony consoles, with both the PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3 topping the charts for the second week running.

PSP took the number one spot with 43,463 units sold, followed by PS3 with 28,014 units. Though Sony’s black box was almost pipped to the post by the DSi, it comfortably outsold the Wii, which shifted just over 17,000 units during the same period.
