Journalist Christopher Dring has revealed that premium sales of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 in the UK are down 11% in October, but the series’ performance on PlayStation formats has seen a strong boost overall year-on-year.
As previously reported, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is the first game in the series to launch straight onto Game Pass, which would account for the drop in sales on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. However, Dring notes that PS5 & PS4 sales are up 24% year-on-year, with a whopping 75% of premium Call of Duty sales in the UK on PlayStation consoles.

Microsoft labelled Call of Duty Black Ops 6 as the ‘biggest Call of Duty release ever‘ following its debut in late October across PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. As reported on PSU, the game entered the UK Charts at number one, although physical sales were down over Modern Warfare 3, again due to Game Pass.
