Call Of Duty Modern Warfare II & III Purchases Won’t Transfer To Call Of Duty Black Ops 6

Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will not transfer across your various cosmetic purchases from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II & III, citing the upcoming first-person shooter as “a fresh start” for players.

The publishing giant explained everything in a blog post, which we’ve included below:

We want to make sure that everybody starts fresh, together, as we move into an all-new experience with the launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Allowing everyone to experience the Black Ops universe the way it’s meant to be played, learning the era-specific weapons and gear, learning the gameplay innovations like Omnimovement, and keeping that signature Black Ops style is important. Therefore, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 content will not carry forward to the Black Ops 6 Premium experience.

Despite this, it’s worth noting that Call of Duty Warzone will incorporate not only Call of Duty Black Ops 6 content, but also anything you’ve obtained for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II & III.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 is scheduled for release on October 25, 2024 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The game takes place in the early 1990s, during a period where the Cold War is ending and the US asserts itself as the single dominant global superpower.
