Launch sales of Dragon Age: The Veilguard in the UK were ‘almost exactly the same’ as Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, according to GamesIndustry.biz‘s Christopher Dring.
Speaking in a post on X, Dring noted that it isn’t really know what publisher Electronic Arts had expected of the game in terms of performance, but it seems that the game is off to a decent start nonetheless.
I talked about it on the podcast that’s just gone up. Did almost exactly the same (in the UK) as Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. It’s hard to know what EA’s expectations were, but it seems fine. It’s not earth shattering, but it isn’t terrible.
