Konami has announced that eFootball 2022, which is the official title for its Pro Evolution Soccer revamp for this year, will launch on September 30, 2021 for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
From launch day eFootball 2022 will support modes such Match – Authentic, which allows you to control popular teams such as FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Juventus, and FC Bayem Munchen and go up against other players online. You can also take part in Trial Matches, which allows you to compete offline against human or AI opponents.
Cross-Generation Matches will also be available to players, allowing those on PS5 and PS4 to go head-to-head.
Meanwhile, Cross-Platform Matches (console and PC) will be available via the game’s first major update, due in early autumn. Speaking of which, this will also include Online Leagues, Team Building, and a Match Pass System.
Following this will be a winter update for eFootball 2022, which expands Cross-Platform Matches across console, PC, and mobile platforms, as well as mobile controller support.
