Rockstar has made it abundantly clear that Grand Theft Auto V’s game world eclipses anything previously concocted by the studio, but to truly understand the scope of its latest crime romp, one must compare it to previous GTA offerings.
Fortunately, the talented chaps over at NeoGAF (via Examiner) have done just that, providing a comparison between GTA V’s sprawling world with those of GTA: San Andreas and GTA IV. Sadly, the latter has been removed at the time of writing, but we’ve managed to grab the San Andreas comparison for you.
Needless to say, these comparison shots really do give you a solid idea as to how substantial in size GTA V’s crime-infested sandbox really is.
Check it out on the next page – there’s spoilers obviously, so don’t have a butcher’s unless you are fine seeing GTA V’s map in all its glory.
GTA is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17. Stay tuned to PSU.com for our full review soon.
