After leaking earlier today, the September 2024 State Of Play confirmed that yes indeed, Legacy Of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remasters are coming to PS5.
It’s caused a great deal of excitement for fans of the classic titles, and it couldn’t be more perfectly timed as they are part of a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the series.
The reveal confirmed that the remasters will arrive on PS4 and PS5 on December 10, and it also showcased some gameplay of the refined classics.

Though not every corporation is able to deliver on precisely the things fans are asking for, these remasters are an example of that actually working out from time to time.
Crystal Dynamics previously surveyed fans asking if they wanted to see Legacy Of Kain brought back, and the resounding “Yes!” from the hundreds of thousands who replied are potentially the catalyst for these remasters even happening.
