Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 could potentially move six million copies at launch today, reckons Sterne Agee analyst Arvind Bhatia.
The figure would put the military shooter one million ahead of Black Ops’ day-one sales back in November 2010.
“We expect MW3 to grow 10% versus last year’s Call of Duty: Black Ops, which has sold through more than 25 million units life-to date. We expect 5.5M-6.0M unit sales of MW3 on day 1 and nearly 18M units in the December quarter,” Bhatia wrote.
