Sony has updated the official PlayStation website listing for God of War Ragnarok, spilling a bunch of new story details on the highly anticipated sequel in the process.
While major details are being kept under wraps, it does offer a succinct explanation of the general plot so we have a better idea of what to expect from Kratos and Atreus’ latest journey. Check it out below.
From Santa Monica Studio comes the sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018). Fimbulwinter is well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world.
Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. The threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer. Kratos and Atreus must choose between their own safety and the safety of the realms.

Recently, the game’s art director named Odin as the toughest character to design in the upcoming sequel.
God of War Ragnarok is scheduled for release on November 9, 2022 for PS4 & PS5.
