You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and the same rings true for video games. The box art displayed on game cases can be dull and uninspired, beautiful and sublime, or in cases such as Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us, controversial; but it’s just a cover.
With the next generation of gaming drawing ever closer, PSU member The Black Wolf is running a box art tournament to celebrate the images that have represented our favourite games this generation and to determine the ultimate PS3 cover art.
The tournament will run over 6 weeks, starting now with the initial submissions. You can join in on the action by visiting our forums and telling us which cover has captured your attention. Phase One runs until July 7 so you still have time to suggest an entry if it hasn’t been mentioned yet.
