Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition trailer reveals new info on Not a Hero, End of Zoe DLC

Capcom has released a new trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition release, offering another glimpse at the forthcoming Not a Hero and End of Zoe DLC.

The footage on Not a Hero showcases Chris Redfield battling Molded in the mines under the Baker estate. It also confirms that Lucas Baker will play a part in the free expansion, as previously reported.

Meanwhile, the trailer confirms more details on End of Zoe, such as when the new mission takes place. From what we can tell, it appears to follow Zoe’s exploits after Ethan and Mia escape the Baker mansion, and introduces a mysterious, older man who claims to be a relative.

Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition is due for release on December 12, 2017. Not a Hero and End of Zoe will be released on the same day, with the latter coming as part of the Season Pass.

Not a Hero was originally due out in spring 2017 before being delayed. The expansion features Chris Redfield, now working with the Umbrella Corporation, as he tracks down a high-value target, presumably the aforementioned Lucas.

Players will be visiting both new and old locations, as well also facing off against new enemies, including the deadly White Molded. Check out Not a Hero in action with this eight-minute gameplay video.

Resident Evil 7 was released back in January 2017 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. The game went on to sell 3.7 million copies in six months, although it failed to match Capcom’s initial sales target.

The Japanese publisher confirmed earlier this year that ideas for Resident Evil 8 are already in motion.
