Rumor – F1 2022 Set To Feature Supercars & Cross-Play, But No Story Mode

Codemasters‘ upcoming F1 2022 is set to eschew story mode in favour of adding supercars for the first time in the franchise’s history, with Cross-Play also reportedly on the cards for this year’s racer.

Xfire reports that Story Mode will be given the boot in favour of F1 Life, which will apparently see players having a look at the lives of F1 racers and allowing them to purchase luxury items such as watches and other expensive products. Among these include supercars, which players will be able to drive themselves after coughing up the dough for them.

F1 2022 will reportedly not allow you to race supercars against F1 vehicles, but you can race them on any of the game’s 23 tracks, as well as online against other players. In addition, it claims that F1 2023 will feature a Story Mode, but it won’t be in this year’ game due to time constraints.

Finally, the report claims that F1 2022 will include VR support, although nothing official has been confirmed at this point.
