HBO has released the full length trailer for The Last of Us Season 2 ahead of its premiere on April 13, 2025, and suffice to say there’s plenty of scenes contained within that fans will want to digest.
We see plenty of action with infected as they storm survivor camps only to be obliterated by explosives, some intense scenes with Joel and Ellie, Tommy going wild with a flamethrower, and Abby and her crew moving through the snow. There also seems to be a scene with Ellie in the hospital confronting Nora like in The Last of Us Part.

The Last of Us Season 2 on HBO will begin an adaptation of The Last of Us Part 2 from Naughty Dog, although the entire game’s events won’t be covered in a single season. In addition to returning characters Joel (Pedro Pascal), Ellie (Bella Ramsey), and Tommy (Gabriel Luna), The Last of Us Season 2 introduces Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Young Mazino as Jesse, and Isabela Merced as Dina.
