A direct sequel with Mamoru Oshii back at the helm, Ghost In the Shell 2: Innocence takes 2D and 3D animation to heights never seen before and will not be seen again for quite some time. Steven Spielberg was so impressed with the two anime films that he has directed Dreamworks to make Ghost In The Shell into a 3D live action film to hit theatres in 2011.
