It`s probably only out in America for now, because It not there for me!

I'm in the US, and it prompted me last night.  The patch did wonders...literally would take me several mintues before to get into a game.  Last night after I installed the patch, less then 10 seconds.  You guys in the UK will enjoy this when it's out!

Looks like some of you guys are right, I'm from the UK also and there's no update here! Same as usual I guess, we always get the short end of the stick :(

Not available in Europe it seems. Germany still deals with 4.0

Sad, but its a great game anyway. Can't be long till we get included. :-)

O.k. it's been over a week, can't be that hard to transfer can it? Sad thing, seems not to be a big goal to supply new contents. f.e. PC got a holiday map, Motorstorm got holidayskins -->CoD doesn't even use it's own "online-news-feature"

It did get me into games much faster, but it crashed the PS3 when first installed.  I had to hard reboot the PS3 to get back in.

Help. Can not get online at all. Constant "Ethernet cable not connected error" since applying update. Any suggestions?

downloaded yesterday and i love it. i used to not play it alot due to the joining game problem no i play it alot

This is a pretty sweet update, it used to take up to 20 minutes for it to find a game on line. After dowloading the update it was less than one minute!

Hmm, so players still don't have the option of finding their own servers to play in? 

@Redstone - I had a similar problem with one of the previous Motorstorm updates. Go to your Game Data Utility folder and delete the update data for CoD4, then re-download the patch - that may work. Make sure you go to the right folder, though - DON'T delete your game saves!

Thanks Paranoimia, however I did delete and reinstall,  stilll get "ethernet cable not connected error". I can not figure it out, I can get to SPN, internet and other online games. I have a D-link router (I know) but  besides that I am open to any suggestions.

how the hek do u get this update? its not on the psn store....... aint it out in the UK yet?

Why couldn't this patch be released worldwide at the same time.  Now I have to suffer with frustrating network issues, and  an annoying single player.   Thanks Infinity Ward for making me hate this game.  What a waste of my money, this game was.

After applying this patch, the multiplayer servers went dead totally. I couldn't connect to any servers while I was connected internet through Ethernet Port. Then I  switched to Wireless on my PS3  and tried again. Now it is working fine but there is really a problem with the Ethernet Port connection in this patch.

how can i do the patch from my PS3? I heard now the version is already 1.4. Can kindly update the link here. thanks

downloaded automatically for me, checked the Game Data Utility folder after reading this thread and it was there.

Any idea when the UK will get it cause the servers seem to have got worse since the US got it, it takes me an age to get into games?

Does anybody know when the update will be available in Ireland (Europe), please? It takes me hours to get into games. Thanks.
