Purchasing items from the PlayStation Store just got a whole lot easier for those of you without access to credit, as Sony has finally gotten around to shipping PlayStation ‘Entertainment Cards’ to stores throughout the US.
Initially available in USD 20 and USD 50 denominations, the cards are currently available at branches of Blockbusters, but will soon be spreading out to the usual variety of retail outlets.
Each card contains a simple scratch-code to enter into the account management section of your PS3, with funding available immediately afterwards. Perfect timing for the upcoming release of WipEout HD, if that takes your fancy.
No word on European or worldwide release just yet.
