UPDATE: The demo will be available on August 21.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE: In a video interview with G4TV, Marketing Manager at LucasArts Matt Shell revealed that a demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed will be coming to the PlayStation Network in August.
According to Shell, the demo will be a special version of the Tie Fighter Construction Facility, where players will have access to extra force powers and a "super secret" ending to the level not found in the final version of the game. Check out the interview below.

Oh yeah? This sounds okay...
Sweet, cant wait - sure hope I like the demo, cause I've been waiting for this game for ages. :/
sweet, i don't really care about this game at all :-D
lol haha hyperslug,nice man-real smooth.
anyways i think this game will be pretty well done.. i allways have doubts though about games that are massive multiplatform like (psp,ps2wii,ds) cuz you have to focus on all of them insted of just one or two,wich can make it more difficult.
"the force is semi strong with this one"
Can't wait ^^ not a big star wars fan but this game looks great
can't wait for this game, a must have in my opinion
@4 the Ps3/360 version is being worked on by the main team while the other versons are being done by a different dev studio
Finally, time to see what the demo shows.
Great. I wasn't so sure about just going out and buying the game, (I don't like renting games..) so if its good I'll buy.
They have made this character more powerful then vadar it seems, and he is vadars aprentice yh?
this game is worth buying just to play w/ the physics engine, you should really take a look at how they built that
@10
yea it looks as if vaders apprentice is a lot stronger. maybe at the end of the game he trips on a pebble and dies. i don't see how he could make it to the 4th episode
@13 (BlueRevolvuR)
LOL
so this game is like episode 3.5? A wacky storyline, i sense.
Hasn't Lucasarts already stated that the high-end development portion was being led on the PS3? If so, then this will be interesting to behold.
psn id: gingo.... i'm glad theres a demo for this cos i really want to try it before i buy becasue i am totally undecided about whether to get it or not
don't know if i want the game anymore + no trohpy support makes me least intrested too
tsk i doubt this will be on the EU/AU store so ill have to get it off the us store
Sweet! Star Wars: Force Unleashed demo, Ratchet and clank expansion - now I just need Mercenaries 2 demo on august 21st and that will be my favourite day of the month!
sweet its coming out on my birthday!
nice...demos should be a must for every game...no exceptions...
PSN: yungder
At least we'll see if the game is really worth buying, shame that there's no trophy support for the moment maybe we'll get it later on!
Woot, that's next week's PSN update too :D
Time to try out the demo lol.
I LUV STAR WARS! I'm not a huge fat nerd, but somethin bout light sabers and the force just puts me in a great mood
Honestly this game looks good and might be worth buying BUT they choose the wrong month to release this game. They should have put this game out this month in August. With LBP and SOCOM coming out two and three weeks after its now way I'm buying this game
Can't wait only five more days.
This is good when I come back from vacation I can download this demo. =D Can't wait to crush AT-STs with the force and work for Lord Vader!
star wars is so overated
