Everyone of my friends always wondered how Kratos would be like if he was in Soul Calibur

This could be announced in accordance to the God of War III teaser that will probably show.

I wouldn't doubt it those guys at Santa Monica probabley have God of War 3 up and running. I'm sure they could just give Namco devs a character model .

that is very very neat. i wonder if the 360 is having another character as well or is the extra kratos character just a extra person the ps3 will have over the 360. anyway, its better then that vader apprentice BS whom knowone cares about...

okay, first we have a bunch of star wars characters, know kratos, what about adding Dante, Nariko (heavenly sword) and why not fuçing link aswell, this game is starting to get more and more silly as time goes by!

If Kratos appears on this then that instantly makes the PS3 version the one to own.

He fits better than any Star Wars character, not that I wouldn't mind playing as Darth Vader, but man!! We're talking Kratos here!!! OMG!!!! I already decided to buy this game! But now, it's a must-buy, totally!!!

 That would be awesome, I would use him all the time. He is the man. Really hoping they show something at E3, or announce it soon. Got my fingers crossed. 

Sony dont need to share anything with Namco because they can easily base a Kratos him off the older versions of the character, SC4 wont be running on the same engine as GOW3 either so dont exspect a look into GOW3's gfx...

GOW3 is probably running, as they have helped already other devs on the PS3, yet they have not announced any projects themselves.

Good for people buying SC-IV. But I would rather play as Kratos in GOW-III than SC-IV.

Kratos makes 10x more sense in Soul Calibur than Darth Vader does.

Simple as this; this is Namco's anwer to Dead or Alive 4. Remember all the hype about the Spartan character and how everyone was excited to see how that turned out? This is a bold move and I hope it works well.

this is wonderful.Kratos in SCIV...I was already palnning on getting this game, Kratos appearing on it will only give me more reasons to buy this game. I hope he will be well exploited and given a good number of moves.It should be like SCII where Heihachi made no sense at all.I would prefer Kratos in his GoW2 god amor and the blade of olympus should be one of his weapons.

No Kratos!!!! That will totally unbalance the game. Kratos is much too powerful to be in a game with mere mortals!

After the way Namco has been treating Sony? What do you mean? What has Namco done to Sony? I mean, besides giving them Tekken 6 exclusively? Am I wrong on that? Help me out.

To the topic:

Kratos as a playable character is a better idea than having the Star Wars crew. Why? Because Kratos, at least, was mortal at some point in the game, thus he could be killed. And his Blades of Chaos doesn't exactly kill enemies in one hit. Lightsabers, on the other hand, are supposed to be made of pure energy and will sever anything it touches. Thusly, if Vader were to perform a downward slice with his saber, NO ONE should be able to block it and EVERYONE should die from one hit because of it. In addition, there's his Force powers.

Kratos doesn't have to be "dumbed down" or "weakened" to be a balanced player in SC's catalogue of players; Darth Vader does... meaning, in the end, it's only Darth Vader by appearance.

I really hope this is true.  I always thought Kratos would make a great character.  That get's me wondering though.  If the PS3 has an exclusive like Kratos, what is the 360 getting?
