[UPDATE]God of War III press event in three weeks

Speaking with VG247, Sony confirmed the God of War III press event, adding European press to the RSVP list.
“Yes, the GOW3 development team will be holding an exclusive sneak peak in February, for a very select number of US & European press,” the company said.

According to Kotaku, Sony will be holding a private press event for their SCEA Santa Monica Studios title God of War III early next month to give the press a more detailed look at the eagerly awaited sequel.
With the event only a mere three weeks away, gamers can expect the first previews of God of War III to hit not long after. Our guess is that Sony will have information from the press event embargoed until after February 27, so that the hype can be focused on Killzone 2.
Not much of a wait, considering Sony unveiled the first God of War III gameplay footage last month. We've contacted SCEA for more information on the press event and hope to bring you our own exclusive coverage from the event. Stay tuned for more details.

The cats out of the bag you say? GOWIII news can't come quick enough.
P.s. Nothing can subtract from Killzone hype, so they may as well let them get on with it.

@ 3,the graphics in the GOW3 trailer looked far better than DMC4 and Beyonetta.I don't know why people are complaining about the graphics,the game is about gameplay and abilities anyway.

cant wait to see more on this game. Also why does everyone worry about Jaffe? He only directed the second game and was head of art direction for the first. He wasnt the mastermind behind GOW.
And whats with all the guys using chicks as thier avatars? Unless your gay (which is cool by me) then its really rather stupid. Avatars are supposed to be a depiction about yourself afterall.

I'm really looking forward to this game, i sure hope they don't push it back 2010.
@3 the game has an awesome story as well as good game play and for me I would like to know how it ends, the end of the second game left you on a clffhanger, I'm assuming you've played the games.

I love graphic whores, It's all about Graphics > Gameplay for them. What a sad world they must live in. They must get their rocks off just walking outside. Game looks amazing already. Just a sidenote here, Gaming didn't start on the PS2, believe it or not there were game systems before that.
