THQ announced today that 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand will be released in PAL territories on February 20, 2009.

Blood on the Sand sees Fiddy and his hip-hop buddies shaking things in the sun-baked deserts of the Middle East, as the muscle-bound artist seeks to collect payment owed from a dodgy criminal overlord. New features include the ability to drive a selection of vehicles, participate in drop in/drop out cooperative gameplay and unleash all-new counter kills.

Fiddy fans can also bop to a selection of unreleased tracks from both 50 Cent himself and G-Unit as you blast your way through legions of unscrupulous characters aided by fellow G-Unit members Tony Yayo, Lloyd Banks and DJ Whoo Kid.

A North American release will follow on February 24.
