Tons of people are favoring the 'over the shoulder' view over a first person perspective nowadays. Others hate third person shooters and are strictly first person. Ever just wish you could choose between the two?
Enter the wonderful world of mods. The first player-created and released mod for Unreal Tournament 3 on the PS3, Action Cam, is here.
Action Cam offers better visibility for players, allowing for a third person view reminiscent of Warhawk. However, the mod is not without its issues. Apparently, there's a glitch in the mod where if you walk too close to a wall, you'll vanish. However, newer versions of this third person mod are sure to be on the way soon. Oh yea am I 1st? Word up!!! Nice I like seeing my character personally and all the nice designs that were placed on the character, so this new mod for the camera I think is a dope thang tho it has a few bugs it'll get better as time goes on! Im down for this action cam!

i have used this feature... i was one of the first people to get it last night... its a great change of pace.... sadly, people use it in DM... and its really not all that cool in DM... its great for warfare, capture the flag, VCTF.... just because you are more aware of your surroundings.... this game has a great future ahead of it, as long as people get off cod4 anyway... PLEAse, get off Cod4 and onto Ut3....

This game keeps getting better and better. there are already 4 new maps and 2 new mutators, and all content is free. paying $7 for a map for resistance or warhawk is the stupidest sh1t ever. get this game and you are set for life.
