Afrika teaser website launched

Hot on the heels of our story yesterday regarding Play Asia’s August release listing for Afrika, Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) has today launched an official teaser website for the upcoming PlayStation 3 title.

Disappointingly, the site gives us little to go, other than the “Coming Soon” message displayed along the bottom of the page. Still, this may be a good indication that the listing on Play Asia may be more than just an educated guess.

Afrika remains one of the most elusive PS3 games to date, with Rhino Studios offering little in the way of information on the title following its initial revealing at Sony’s E3 2006 press conference. Nonetheless, the safari simulation has certainly pipped our curiosity, so we're hoping to find out more soon.

    @Kane if you don't entresting then go play rushed games,

    when first anounced game will be release date is december. (but i don't think so too)

    i suggesting game will release next years summer or that kinda who knows :)

    @kane this game never really was "delayed" as alot of other big titles are these days, as i dont think there was ever a released date. but my question is, what is Afrika spose to be anyway? i guess a simulation kind of thing?

    @ Mike I think the expression or word you were looking for was "piqued" as in the French word, not "pipped". I have absolutely no idea what to expect from Afrika and until I do it'll pass well under my radar.

    @Kane, yeah play a rushed game, Haze wasn't rushed, and it blows chunks, and yes i played it and beat it, not impressed.

    And what makes this title so special that it wouldnt get any delays?

    Whats this game about antway, watching animals graze or somethin? The graghics are amazing!
