- This story takes place 1000 years before the first game. Agarest was peaceful because of the balance in power between the Light and Dark forces. However,an army of the Dark forces crossed the border and Jiku Haito from the Light forces saves a girl named Mimel while on duty. He then got a special “power” from her. The main goal of the hero(Jiku)is to find the key object to defeat your enemies,and the goal for his son Leon is to protect it.
