Amazon.com showcasing new LittleBigPlanet trailer

The online retail giant Amazon.com has received their very own exclusive LittleBigPlanet trailer. The trailer which went up sometime this morning displays a variety of Sackboys taking part in some platforming goodness. The key point to take away from this trailer however is the fact that retailers are starting to take deeper notice of the PlayStation 3 console and their innovative first-party titles.
Sony has stated earlier in the week that they expect LBP to push consoles for them upon release; perhaps Amazon.com has taken notice of this possibility and is trying to get a jump on the action as soon as possible. As for the video, we've included it below.

Wondering if Amazon is also smart enough to have some sort of pre-order item to go along with this. I think retailers like Amazon are starting to see the PS3 as the new "must have" console. Expect the PS3 to be on the top of a lot of peoples X-mas list this year. Too bad it took this long for it to happen.

This game is goin to be tight! Now that Amazon is jumping on it a little early, it should push console sales even more, which Sony could use. This holiday should be very good to Sony this year. MS crapbox has nothing to show for it, oh I forgot, Gears 2, big woop! PSN ID-Demented007

Yeah, they should release PS3 with LBP and aim it at a younger, or creative audience. Make it look more like an entertainment device the whole family can enjoy for playing games, watching movies, surfing the web, viewing photos, listening to music, etc. Even though everyone wants to crush the 360, it wouldn't hurt to branch out and try to steal some sales from the Nintendo. I like all kinds of games, but some people don't like shoot 'em up games like MGS4. I think everyone can enjoy LittleBigPlanet. Sony should really promote it and advertise like they did MGS4. Get the info out there for people who don't keep up with games for the PS3. It's driving me nuts waiting for this to come out :)

I can imagine that this game could use zillions of billions customization option, there's just soooooo much you can do in it. It rly amazes me every time I see it :)

Sony was right in making this game. Hopefully this will do for the PS3 what Mario did for the NES.

The UK does it again just like we did with gta,they should really give uk devs tax breaks like they do in canada and america just imagine what would happen then.

Nice with a good game and a nice video..but for LBP to push hardware..Sony needs to deliver some hardware.. situation around Scandinavia is getting more and more stupid! Nor sure if it is the same all around europe. Some people have been waiting since start april for hardware and many stores have not had a single machine delivered for more than a month. Right now it seems like the new SKU will be delivered around end august.. but this means that they have lost almost all possible sales from april to end august... weird policy!
